GIVE THE GIFT OF EDUCATION
THIS HOLIDAY SEASON, HELP ALL STUDENTS IN ARMENIA ACCESS QUALITY EDUCATION
OUR movement
Teach For Armenia’s Kochari
Our movement for educational justice is like the Kochari. Communities across Armenia have their own special dances, yet each kochari shares similar movements. Each kochari emphasizes the importance of building community by moving together in unison. With hands linked, we move together to signify that we are united in our cultural heritage. Similarly, Teach For Armenia’s Kochari is a collection of unifying concepts that help to synchronize our collective movement. In short, our efforts across the country reflect the uniqueness of each community while revolving around a shared vision.

Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Armenian Schools
Armenia has been selected to receive a new grant from the State and Peacebuilding Umbrella Trust Fund to support the mental health and wellbeing of affected children and adolescents from Nagorno-Karabakh region in 225 schools across the country. The grant will finance an upcoming project to be implemented jointly by the World Bank and the Teach For Armenia Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center, and the Armenian State Pedagogical University.
The $2.6 million grant will support the social integration of displaced children and adolescents into Armenian schools, and capacity building and mentoring of school staff to deliver tailored mental health and psychosocial support to displaced children and adolescents, their families, and students from the hosting communities.
