CHANGE-BASED LEARNING IS TEACH FOR ARMENIA’S SIGNATURE APPROACH TO TEACHING STUDENTS LEADERSHIP AND INNOVATIVE THINKING THROUGH FIVE STEPS:
First, teachers introduce a “big idea” using the national syllabus. The “big idea” is meant to inspire students.
Second, students explore the “big idea” through self-guided learning.
Third, students then work in groups to propose a project that they could do in their communities in order to innovate.
Fourth, the students act on their ideas.
Lastly, students evaluate their impact.
WHAT HAVE OUR STUDENTS ACCOMPLISHED?

To date, we are reaching over 30,000 students through our core program, and we have received 500 pitches from student groups for projects that focus on boosting local ingenuity, civic responsibility, and global connectivity.
As of the 2021-2022 school year, we have supported our students to implement 150 projects in communities across Armenia and occupied Artsakh. At the start of 2022, our teachers completed a crowdfunding campaign, through which their students successfully raised more than $40,000 towards the implementation of Student-Led Innovation Projects.
