A NATIONWIDE MOVEMENT TO END EDUCATIONAL INJUSTICE
At Teach For Armenia, we believe that all children deserve the right to receive an excellent education regardless of their background.
We also believe that we need to cultivate leaders across the system in order to achieve nationwide transformation in the education sector.
To do so, Teach For Armenia aims to recruit new talent while also partnering with existing teachers to provide in-service training and support.
System-wide transformation can only take root when we lift up those already working in the nation’s public schools while also enlisting others to join our efforts.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
More than anything else, we are looking for candidates who are committed to Teach For Armenia’s core beliefs as enshrined in the organization’s Kochari. Additionally, we are looking for individuals who demonstrate a growth mindset, can solve complex problems, and push themselves to learn and grow.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
For applicants who are already teaching in public schools, you must meet the following eligible requirements:
You must be teaching in public school (grades 2-3 & 5-12);
You must be teaching in a low-income or rural community;
Once you join the program, you must be able to do extracurricular activities and you must not teach for more than 22 hours.
