Havasar

Inclusive Education Platform · Havasar Educational Foundation

Havasar is an educational foundation with a mission to provide equal educational opportunities for all by creating an inclusive society. Its phone application offers audio and video versions of general education textbooks adapted for children with vision, hearing, and mental disabilities. The app digitizes and adapts secondary school textbooks with sign language translations, video tutorials, and audio support for every button, ensuring an accessible experience for every child.

Project Details

Havasar: Inclusive Education App
Havasar provides audio and video versions of general education textbooks adapted for children with vision, hearing, and mental disabilities. With sign language translations and video tutorials for children with hearing impairments, the app promotes universal design. Audio support for each button makes it easier for children with vision problems to use the app. The application is also beneficial for children without disabilities, Armenian diaspora children, those with chronic illnesses, or refugee children.
Nor Das: Gamified Teacher Training
The Nor Das application creates a gamified environment to enhance pedagogical knowledge and skills for teachers. Teachers can answer questions in a game-like format, solve situational problems, and engage in interactive meaningful procedures. The app's content is continually developed based on pedagogical science, and after each action, teachers can access related scientific articles, monographs, or manuals. Teachers can simulate lesson scenarios and apply the knowledge gained in real classrooms. As there are currently no similar Armenian and Russian-language electronic resources, the team is optimistic about rapid growth.
EduAR: Virtual Reality Laboratories
EduAR specializes in creating virtual laboratories for natural sciences (physics, chemistry, and biology) using virtual reality helmets. These interactive virtual labs provide students with a safe space to experiment and learn from their mistakes. Utilizing VR and AR tools in education, especially in virtual laboratories, is an innovative and groundbreaking approach in Armenia. This method involves presenting theoretical concepts through visual displays and conducting practical experiments within a virtual environment.
