A Three-Stage Journey Into Literature

The initiative was designed as a series of progressive meetings held across three stages in each school. Students, teachers, and parents were invited to explore a curated selection of 100 books donated by Zangak Publishing House—covering themes of love, compassion, and caring for animals.

Each session built upon the last—deepening understanding, sparking dialogue on diverse topics, and cultivating genuine interest in literature. The final meeting featured collaborative teamwork: participants chose a book and prepared creative presentations to share with the community.

Introduction to the book collection. Students, teachers, and parents explored 100 donated titles and selected books of personal interest.

Facilitated community conversations about themes in the books—love, compassion, empathy—building deeper engagement with the material.

Teams collaborated to present their chosen book in creative ways, demonstrating comprehension and fostering public speaking skills.

By combining reading with community involvement, this initiative not only fosters a love for reading among students but also strengthens their connection with the community—showcasing the transformative power of education.

— Teach For Armenia· Program Statement

This partnership represents what becomes possible when publishers and educators unite: classrooms enriched with books, communities brought together through shared stories, and displaced children finding belonging through literature. We extend our deepest gratitude to Zangak Publishing House for initiating and sustaining this program.
